Happy Anniversary Danielle + Ray

Happy Anniversary to
Danielle and Ray Hightower
July 5, 2008

Danielle and Ray were high school sweethearts!

This move no doubt developed from their high school days!

This is one of my favorite pictures! Sweet love!

The groom’s cake was chocolate ganache! It had tuxedo strawberries with the groomsmen’s names on each one. They were very excited to find their names on them! This picture is from a company that specializes in tuxedo strawberries.

How to pick your bouquet!

Your bouquet should match your style!

Consider it like a purse. It should be an accessory, to compliment you and not over shadow you!

There are several factors to consider when picking your bouquet.

Take note of what you like...

Tight and round
Loose and airy

Protruding items...

Like wires or berries

Jewels

Bear grass curled out

          Loose ivy or greenery
All one color

Multiple colors

Explosive colors

With greenery around the outside

With little to no greenery

Thick stem (jeweled in this case)

Thin stems

Stems cut straight
Stems cut on the diagonal

Stems completely wrapped

Add jewels, buttons, or charms to the stem.

Wrap the stem with your grandmother's handkerchief or add a locket with a picture of a loved one that can not attend. Add buttons or trinkets that are special to you!

You can carry a simple calla or several of them.

Wrap the stems completely, tie on small ribbons, or leave stems unwrapped.

Even bouquets that light up! This one had an LED pack inside! Kristin loved the styles of Flowers and Such, Maryville, TN. It was the first time I've had to say, "Don't forget to turn on your bouquet!"

Again, it should compliment you, not overshadow you!

Happy Anniversary Jodi + Mike

Happy Anniversary to
Jodi and Mike Freeman
June 22, 2008

Jodi and Mike had the challenge of blending two families.

The picture tells the story of the new family!

Jodi's son was shy about dancing with her. So, we did not plan a formal dance. However, the photographer (Julie) did a great job of catching him off guard to get a picture that Jodi can cherish forever!

Happy Anniversary Kristin + Matt

Happy Anniversary
Kristin and Matt Collins
June 13, 2009

Kristin and Matt did not see each other before the ceremony, but they did share a kiss at the door!

Kristin’s dad performed the ceremony- sentimental and sweet! The ceremony was beautiful!

Kristin was excited about her light up bouquet. It was the first time that I've ever had to say, “Don’t forget to turn on your bouquet.”

The wedding theme was Mad hatter! We hung over 25 lanterns around the area.

Kristin and Matt decided to have a dessert reception. There were sweets everywhere!
The menu:
Giant cup cakes (Red Velvet, Chocolate Peanut Butter... Chocolate fountain with items to dip... A candy buffet... One child was overheard saying “this is the best wedding ever!”

Happy Anniversary Emily + Sasa

Happy Anniversary to
Emily and Sasa Martinovic
June 14, 2008

Emily and Sasa did what most people call 'the first look' or 'the first glance'. This is when the couple decides to see each other before the ceremony and get most of the pictures taken! It allows the couple to enter the reception earlier and enjoy more of the reception with their guests.
Emily and Sasa decided to have their first look on the staircase in the home where they were married. Emily was at the top of the stairs and walked down to meet her groom! Some couples decide to have the first look at the ceremony site or some other scenic location.

Following the ceremony, Emily, Sasa, and their wedding party were finished with pictures, so they were the first to go through the reception line. Normally, we make the plates for our couple, but Emily was excited to see the food line and start mingling with her guests!

Happy Anniversary Kristen + Byron

Happy Anniversary
Kristen and Byron Brown
June 13, 2009

Kristen’s theme was Crystals… lots of crystals.

We hung over 22 crystal chandeliers in the outdoor area.

When visiting Lisa Foster Design to verify our flowers, Kristen fell in love with a crystal tree in the window! We lit the tree in purple and placed the favor seed packets underneath it.

Since the cake was set up outside, we hung a mesh canopy with crystal beads around it!

Kristen and Byron departed in a green rolls royce!

Happy Anniversary Sophie + Israel

Happy Anniversary to
Sophie and Israel Noble
June 8, 2008

The groom's  father conducted the ceremony.
It made the ceremony extra special to both of them!

Wedding day turned out to be one of the hottest days in June! It was 101 degrees by the heat index.

Sophie was determined to have an outdoor wedding! She carried a mini motorized fan around with her! She handed it to me just before she went down the aisle. I gave it back to her as soon as the recessional was over!
