A Day in Paradise

Imagine your first day in a tropical paradise! You arrive at the airport and spot the Sandals hut. After you check in, you board the Sandals private van to take you to your resort at no additional cost to you! As you travel, your driver tells you of the local culture, pointing out banana trees to your right.

Upon entering the resort, your bags are removed for you and transported to your room. Your personal butler greets you at the door and leads you past the lobby and straight to your room. He explains his role, offers to unpack for you if needed. He hands you a cell phone to reach him if you need.
He mentions that he knows your love of Japanese cuisine. He has already booked your reservations at the Hibachi restaurant. Before exiting he asks if there’s anything else that he can do for you!
After he leaves, you check out the room. Running from room to room you delight at the amount of space!
The four-poster mahogany bed is spread with bamboo that spell out ‘Welcome Home’!
The view from the balcony is breath taking. Crystal clear waters and inviting beach cabanas await you. You open the fridge in the mini bar to see your favorite drink. How did your butler know your drink of choice?

That night you dine at the fabulous Japanese restaurant overlooking the ocean! The service and food is top-notch. The best part is that after dessert, there’s no check! It’s all included at Sandals.

The next day, you wake up to a knock at the door. Your butler comes in and sets up a beautiful breakfast spread on your private balcony. You sip your island guava juice and look out at the ocean. Per your request, your butler has reserved your cabana and booked your afternoon massage.
While on the beach, you realize that you forgot your iPod. You call your butler and ask him to swing by and drop it off to you. He delivers more than just the iPod.

The story continues… but I’ll let you live it for yourself!

You only get one honeymoon... make it magical!

Happy Anniversary Stacy + Josh

Happy Anniversary
Stacy and Josh Swiney
September 13, 2008

The sweetheart table was a cocktail table and tall chairs. The tall chairs worked well for greeting guests. Stacy and Josh were able to sit at the table and not have to get up to greet or hug their guests.

Stacy’s mom (Cindy) did the bouquets and centerpieces.

For some the garter toss can be a little embarrassing. Stacy’s face tells the story. She was warning Josh to play nice when he was getting the garter off in front of friends and family!

Guests were given sparklers with matches to light and raise as the happy couple left the reception.

Stacy and Josh left in a Model T. The driver had to crank the engine before they could leave.

Have a happily Ever After!

Dream Team Tennessee

Ever After is proud to be a part of Dream Team.

Samantha Goldberg, known from Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway, has started an organization called Dream Team. This organization grants weddings to couples with hardships, like illness, military deployment, job loss, etc.

I am excited to be the Tennessee Chapter President of Dream Team. We are forming the board now and hope to have our chapter underway soon! Check out our facebook page!

If you know a couple in need of a Dream Team check out the website for an application! This is a picture of Elizabeth and David (the Dream Team's first couple)!

If you are a vendor in the state of Tennessee we would love to have your support. We are looking for vendors to step up and offer services to help us make dreams come true!

Wanna be a Millionaire

So you wanna be a Millionaire sooooo bad!
Sandals lets you live like one for a week!
Be royalty for a week in the Millionaire suites of St. Lucia!

Let the Rolls or Mercedes pick you up from the airport. Bypass the lobby and drive through the privacy gates to your suite. Your private butler can unpack for you, mix you a drink, or order you a snack!
Sit on your bed and gaze out over the infinity pool to the beach below! Who needs walls when you're on top of a tropical paradise?
Book early, because these suites are a sweet deal and are often sold out! This picture is from my trip to St. Lucia.

Get to the beach, only to realize that you forgot something from your room... no problem man, call your butler to bring it to you! And don't forget to order a snack with it!

Go on be a Millionaire for a week at Sandals!

Tennessee Terrace Opens!

The United Way of Greater Knoxville 2010 Campaign Kickoff was the first official event hosted by the new Tennessee Terrace at Neyland Stadium.

Our campaign chair, Mike Hamilton, set a high, but needed campaign goal of 12 million dollars! Supporters agree that our community needs the funds and is worth the cost! Donations go to support Health care, education, basic needs, and efforts to pull individuals and families from poverty. Last year the United Way helped more than 100,000 people!

This Sunday you will find an insert in the News Sentinel describing the work of United Way and a card you can return to pledge your support! Tomorrow Neyland Stadium will be packed with as many people as are in need of your support in our community.

Today’s event drew speakers from the TN athletics department: Derek Dooley, Pat Head Summit, and Bruce Pearl pledged their support.

Coaches Summit and Pearl were generous to give autographs to fans.

Coach Summit said that the United Way is her biggest charity. She said "to whom much is given, much is required".

Mike Hamilton stressed the needs in our community and how each of us can help!
Large orange banners with photos of players, fans, and the field decorate the terrace. Here are a few more photos of the new terrace and the view to the field!
